Meditation weeks 7 & 8: Dealing with Negative Emotions Copy

Please spend at least twenty minutes every day on the meditation below. This will be your meditation for the next two weeks.

Before you begin exploring the meditation in earnest, spend some time observing your mind, having a think about which negative emotion you would like to work on.

This may be a state of mind that doesn’t occur often, but when it does, it causes a great deal of unhappiness and disruption. Or you may choose an emotion that, while not so dramatic, is first on the list because of its negative impact on your mind and relationships, day in, day out. Choose just one negative emotion to work on for the time being.
