Considering the gaps between appearance and reality that you have already observed, to some extent, in your life, do you think it is wishful thinking that you “will tear cyclic existence to tatters”? Or do you genuinely think that you have a foot in the door which, once opened, will tear this conditioned existence apart? What basis in experience do you have for thinking this way?
